Most people are not experienced tanners and don’t know or realize how important it is to use lotion while they tan. Some are afraid to ask, and some think it's just another way to make money. 

When traveling we get all ready to go, buy the vacation of our dreams, new clothes, expensive swim wear, a tanning package, and forget the most important part, a bottle of tanning lotion and maximizer. When we get to the beach, what's the first thing we do? We put on our lotion and tan. Why do we put on the lotion when we get to the beach and tan, but not when we're indoor tanning, getting ready for the beach?
